Well Hannes and I decided that the long side of the quarry is far to slippery and hot most of the time

over summer so we decided to give the far end a good clean up... Thankfully the trees provide alot of shade making climbs like orangoutang (19) and silver surfer (26) popular for those hot summer days...

We placed an anchor at the top of this end of the quarry! So now you can climb badfinger (21), contested corner (17) and the direct finish (has this been done before????) to orangoutang (19) in the shade ALL day long at the quarry..

enjoyyy!

yeah it would be nice!!! But yeah badfinger (21) is a dandy route! Just needs a bit of traffic so it cleans up nicely! Anyone climbing 21's should jump on it!

Thanks for that.

What do you mean by the direct finish to Orangoutang exactly?

Well instead of traversing under the roof out to the top of silver surfer you bust straight through the roo ( that was a vege garden basically) up to the top then just go out a lil right to the anchor for badfinger. very cool balancy finish :)

It needs a little something yet.

Anyway my question with that climb is does it not climb the left leaning groove from 3/4 height?
