Cheers Ed for getting that info In The Climber.

Its great to see an 'official' word out on whats acceptable for camping in wanaka. My partner pointed out that by mentioning this a little while back was like shooting ourselves in the foot, meaning tht we can no longer camp there. True, but its not the only option and something had to be done.

So to all others out there who are a little pissed that riverside is now a no camping zone, please respect it and remember that the place was suffering big time, with respect to rubbish, fire risk and poo.

Please lead by example!

So, locals, what do you think may be the best camping options for visiting climbers...

DOC Albert town?
Glendhu bay camping?
Top ten?
Any other possibilties....?
