Paynes Ford 04/05 Wrap Up

New friends were made, old friendships revisited, the climbing fraternity is certainly a special place and Hangdog is one place to get back to what it's all about. The camp this year certainly was the fullest it had ever been, combined with the weather a few nerves were tested after days in wet tents, no one was hurt, no one poked an eye out, but I don't think anyone will make the mistake of trying to get a quiet night's sleep in scumbag corner ever again!! All well and told, climbing was the winner on the day, when the rock dried, the sun came out, and the motivation bounced from climber to climber. A memorable morning will the 6:30 am Mr Hawken and self, meeting in the driveway, seeing the blue skies, rousing other Mojo members, grabbing our packs, and OFF climbing before another soul was awake. We sent anything dry , and not so dry, at Little Lost Wall. Walking back to camp, quite a number of hours later with everyone stumbling up to the crags going "you're coming back already???"... little did they know what a sending spree we had been on...
So, because I'm rather busy doing other things mojozone wise, and squeezing in some northern rock action, I''ll keep the words brief and get straight into the photos. I'm promised quite a number of photos from quite a number of people.. so when I get them in, they'll go up on the Zone.
Here's a couple of galleries.
