About MojoZone and New Zealand Climbing

This website is my dedication to the rock climbing, sport climbing and bouldering community in New Zealand. My passion to create this site was bourne out of frustration for not finding any good, topical information for climbing. Bouldering has been serviced quite nicley by John Palmer of the Power Band fame.

New Zealand is a very special place on earth, near and dear to my heart. My home, Aotearoa, the land of the long white cloud, is scenic and presents many oppurtunities to put your sticky boots on and get on some rock. Part of the idea of this site is to expose some of the hidden or forgotten areas. Check out the crags area to discover Climbs in New Zealand. You will find upto date information, and if you know somethat we don't then please contact us

MojoZone has grown remarkably since it's inception, with some clever coding and good work over the next 6 months I hope MojoZone will be a big boost for NZ climbing, and maybe even set a new standard for climbing websites.

This site couldn't be built without a team of people. Shane Eriwata, my flatmate and climbing partner gets credit for the Mojo logo, the Mojo Ninjas, and for ensuring I don't forget my 100 pull ups a day. Michael Welson helped immeasurably by redesigning the new Mojo site. Simon Middlemass for commenting from afar. Apple for creating fantastic powerbooks that let you code at night. Very understanding Girlfriends that don't grumble too much late at night! Mark Watson, sending shed-loads of photos every day. Craig Miller, NZMG co-ordinates for every crag. Dave Addison for sheer enthusiasm. Andre and the SF team for throwing the first video the way of the mojo.
